Creased Dents
Creased dents can be caused by
objects which initially impact a car panel and are then dragged along the
panel. Objects can include bicycle
handle bars, trailers and low tree branches. They can also be caused from the impact of
long straight objects, such as door edges.
These #dents are generally found on the side panels of vehicles. Creases appear in the form a straight line at the bottom of a dent. To the untrained eye, creased dents may appear to look round and circular, as if there is no crease. A trained PDR technician will be able to identify a crease at the bottom of a dent. Correctly identifying the composition (length, sharpness) of a creased dent is critical in being able to successfully complete the #DentRemoval process. For instance, a sharp-deep creased dent would be more difficult to repair than a soft-shallow creased dent.
Creased #DentRepairs involves using specialised tools and techniques.
